IMHO, The bracelet is a big part of a watch. It’s sets the overall composure and has to complement the case structure. Perhaps much like a frame is to art 🖼️. The 2499 design exhibits the massive amount of effort put into the minuscule details of bracelet
Some pics I took today of the Girard-Perregaux ref. 2499 silver dial with its rather rare orginal bracelet. Cushion case with a 38 mm diameter. Love the balance of this gullioche dial. Applied 12 & 6 and indices. Clean and entirely legible. 180 examples m
